Centenary and Robes thick paper set of 3; Arms fine used set of 4; pre-decimal Navigators fine used set to £1; plus a large number of other commems and definitives from across the pre-decimal period. Condition is mixed but as the notes above show there are some fine stamps in this lot, get more than 270 different stamps in total for $159.00 2. Australian collection of used pre-decimal stamps from 1928 to 1965, all housed on hand-drawn album pages in a green binder. This collection comprises almost exclusively commemorative stamps, although there are some 1963-64 Navigators up the back including 10/- x2 CTO and £1 very fine used. The better commems present include: 6d brown Airmail CTO; 2d and 3d Bridge OS opt CTO; Victorian Centenary set of 3 both perfs (6); Macarthur set of 4; Anzac set of 2; KGV Silver Jubilee set of 3 and Sth Australia Centenary set of 3; NSW Sesqui set of 3 plus illustrated FDC; 5/- Cattle both papers. These are just the highlights, and there are loads of other stamps in this album, in fact more than 300 stamps in total! Overall the condition is generally good to very good with very few poorer examples. Get the whole album for $199.00 3. Australian collection of mostly used stamps from 1913 to 1968, all housed in a small old-style Seven Seas illustrated album. Included here are a simplified set of kangaroos to 5/- plus 6d OS all used; a simplified set of KGV heads all used including OS overprints (28); 6d engraved Kookaburra in spacefiller used condition; Victorian Centenary set of 3 used; Macarthur set of 4, Anzac set of 2, Sth Australian Centenary set of 3 and NSW Sesqui set of 3 all average used; thick paper Robes set of 3 used; Arms set of 4 used; 5/- white paper Cattle used; and pre-decimal Navigators used set of 6 (£2 pen cancel). From 1948 onwards many of the commems are mint hinged, and the early decimals are all used. Condition is generally at the lower end of the spectrum with quite a few average used or less, and some are stuck down and will require soaking, but naturally this is taken into account in the price. All of the above for just $299.00 4. Australian collection of mint and used stamps from 1966 to 2005, all housed in a large white-page Lighthouse stockbook. The early section of this collection is mostly used, however more and more mint stamps appear later on and during the 1970s-early 2000s period many sets are present both mint and used (sometimes with multiple used sets), and from the late-1990s onwards most sets are mint unhinged. While not complete this does include hundreds and hundreds of sets from throughout the period, and yes the modern section does include quite a few minisheets and self-adhesive issues. The face value of the mint stamps adds up to over $750, but in addition to that I noted more than 20 CTO sets from 2000 onwards that normally retail for $3+ each. Great for those who like to collect more than one (or are building up their stock of modern issues), this album is priced to sell at only $499.00 5. Australian collection of used stamps on nice computer-generated album pages covering the period 1913 to 1990, all housed in a green binder. A deceptive lot that offers more than first glance suggests, as it includes: 10 kangaroos; 44 KGV heads; 1/- Anzac with perfin; 10/- Arms; and pre-decimal Birds set of 8, to name just a few. Condition is generally good with very few faulty stamps, and from 1954 onwards most are very fine used or cancelled-to-order. There are more than 800 stamps in total, all for $59.00 6. Australian collection of CTO stamps from 1982 to 1989, all housed on Seven Seas hingeless pages in a green binder. This collection is almost 100% complete as per the standard Seven Seas pages, and it also includes lots of extras such as framas and booklet panes. Also included are a dozen Railway cinderella minisheets (Thirlmere Railway, etc) in pristine MUH condition, plus AAT CTO from 1957 to 1989 complete including the 1966 definitives. Condition is mostly good with only a small number of stamps showing their age, though many of the album leaves should be replaced at some time. This is still a bargain as its priced for the stamp value alone: our list price for the standard Australia stamps alone adds up to more than $180, get them all plus the railway sheets and the AAT (retail $70) too! The whole album is only $149.00 7. Buy a complete set and save more than 25% (the price of this lot is actually below the face value of the stamps included!), all 26 books for $969.00 9. Australian collection of mint and used stamps from 1988 to 1997, all housed on plain Cumberland pages in a green springback binder. Also included are 10x KGV heads, dozens of early decimals also mint, and up the back over 250 more pre-decimal stamps described as "mint no gum". Condition is generally toned to a greater or lesser extent, however the more recent material is less toned than the early stuff. A real bulk buy, get the entire album for just $49.00 11. Development, 1971 Christmas pane of 24 (!), all in hinged mint condition, and some of the later issues are present in mint blocks of four (eg. 1976 Olympics and Scenes). The total face value of the mint stamps only adds up to more than $120, but you can get this whole album for only $99.00 12. PSE collection of more than 550 mint and used pre-stamped envelopes from 1978 to 1999, all housed in six albums (that would cost almost $150 to purchase new by themselves!). New Zealand collection of mixed mint and used stamps covering the period 1858 to 1967, all housed on hand-drawn album pages in a red binder. This is the one of the best NZ lots we have offered for a long time, because it contains many of the early Queen Victoria issues usually missing from most collections. There are more than 90 used Queen Victoria stamps here, including quite a few better ones such as: 1858 1d and 6d imperf no wmk Chalons (cat. £950); 3 different shades of the 1862 imperf Chalons; 18 perforated Chalons including 3d deep mauve, 4d yellow, 6d blue and what appears to be 1867 3d lilac imperf one side; 12 first sidefaces up to 1/- green; over 50 second sidefaces with a number of perf types all neatly annotated, plus some advertisements and varieties too; 65+ 1898-1909 pictorials in a wide range of wmks and perfs all neatly noted, including 1899-1903 6d green Pirie paper perf 11 x2 shades and 5/- Cook fine used; 1902-09 perf 11 2/- and 5/- and perf 14 5/- all used too amongst many others. These are only the obvious highlights, there are hundreds more stamps also included, with the majority of issues from KGVI onward present mint and/or used including several Health MS. Condition of some of the earlier issues is a little mixed with some toning or thins, however from the 1898 pictorials onwards the quality improves considerably. Early NZ stamps can be notoriously difficult to grasp, with the immense variety of watermarks, perforations and papers to understand, and this collection makes it a lot easier to learn with hours and hours of cataloguing work already done for you. With a catalogue value well in excess of £6200, this is a brilliant way to expand your NZ collection. The entire album is $1999.00 64.
